SARNIA, Ont. – Warren Foegele’s second power-play goal of the game came late in the third period and stood as the winner as the Kingston Frontenacs topped the Sarnia Sting 5-4 on Saturday night in Ontario Hockey League action.
Foegele added two assists for the Frontenacs (8-10-1), with Linus Nyman also striking twice. Ryan Cranford had the other.
Alex Black, Troy Lajeunesse, Ryan McGregor and Kevin Spinozzi supplied the offence for Sarnia (12-6-2).
Jeremy Helvig made 29 saves for the win as Justin Fazio kicked out 21 shots in defeat.
Kingston finished the game by going 2 for 5 on the power play while the Sting were scoreless on four attempts.

FLINT, Mich. — Jalen Smereck scored at 3:49 of overtime as the Firebirds edged Windsor.
Ryan Moore and Kole Sherwood had third-period goals for Flint (11-8-1), with Luke Kirwan opening the scoring 18 seconds into the first period. Connor Hicks turned aside 22 shots.
Logan Stanley, on the power play, Julius Nattinen and Gabriel Vilardi found the back of the net for the Spitfires (12-4-1). Michael DiPietro stopped 20 shots in net.

GENERALS 2 BULLDOGS 1 (OT)
HAMILTON — Riley Stillman scored midway through extra time and Oshawa extended its point streak by beating the Bulldogs.
Medric Mercier had a power-play goal to tie the game in the third for the Generals (13-5-1), who are 8-0-1 in their last nine games. Jeremy Brodeur stopped all 20 shots in 41:35 of relief for the win. Kyle Keyser started but left after kicking out 10-of-11 shots.
Matthew Strome scored on the power play early in the second for Hamilton (10-6-3) and Kaden Fulcher turned away 37 shots.

LONDON, Ont. — Cliff Pu struck twice and Jordan Kooy made 32 saves as the Knights got past Guelph.
Liam Foudy and Alex Formenton also scored for the Knights (12-3-3).
Albert Michnac had a power-play goal midway through the first for the Storm (7-11-3) and Liam Herbst turned aside 33 shots.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. — Danial Singer scored the winner in the second and Stephen Dhillon stopped 44 shots as the IceDogs toppled Sudbury.
Ben Jones and Aaron Haydon, into an empty net, had the others for Niagara (6-9-4).
Dmitry Sokolov found the back of the net for the Wolves (9-9-1) and Zack Bowman made 35 saves.

SAGINAW, Mich. — Filip Hronek, Hayden Hodgson and Kris Bennett all had a goal and two assists to lead the Spirit over Peterborough.
Jesse Barwell, Keaton Middleton, Mitchell Stephens and Robert Proner supplied the rest of the offence for Saginaw (5-10-3). Evan Cormier made 29 saves.
Steven Lorentz and Adam Timleck had power-play goals for the Petes (9-7-3) with Semyon Der-Arguchintsev and Josh Coyle adding the others. Dylan Wells took the loss after kicking out 17-of-23 shots in 31:55. Scott Smith went the rest of the way and made 13 saves.

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — David Miller had a pair of goals and Joseph Raaymakers made 32 saves the Greyhounds defeated Erie.
Otto Makinen, Bobby MacIntyre, Morgan Frost and Mac Hollowell rounded out the attack for Sault Ste. Marie (12-7-1).
Kyle Pettit led the Otters (15-4-1) with two goals and an assist while Jordan Sambrook had the other. Troy Timpano turned aside 27 shots.
Erie’s Erik Cernak received a match penalty for slew footing in the third period.

BARRIE, Ont. — Zach Poirier’s power-play goal was the first of three in the second period for North Bay as it beat the Colts.
Jacob Ball and Cam Dineen also chipped in during the second for the Battalion (10-7-2). Maurizio Colella and Steve Harland, into an empty net, had the others and Brent Moran made 41 saves.
Lucas Chiodo and Jason Willms had goals for Barrie (6-12-2), which dropped its sixth straight. David Ovsjannikov turned aside 33-of-37 shots.

OWEN SOUND, Ont. — Artur Tyanulin scored the winner one minute into overtime and Olivier Lafreniere made 41 saves as Ottawa edged the Attack.

Jonah Gadjovich opened the scoring and Michael McNiven kicked out 24 shots for Owen Sound (10-11-0).
