LONDON, Ont. – Liam Hawel had a goal and an assist to lead the Guelph Storm to a 3-2 victory over the London Knights on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Ryan Merkley’s goal 1:22 into the second period stood as the winner and Isaac Ratcliffe also scored for Guelph (24-19-4).
Billy Moskal and Evan Bouchard provided the offence for the Knights (26-18-4).
Storm goaltender Anthony Popovich kicked out 25 shots. London’s Jordan Kooy made 29 saves.
Guelph went 1 for 2 on the power play while the Knights were 1 for 4 with the man advantage.

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Trent Fox scored twice as the Steelheads downed Sudbury.
