BARRIE, Ont. — Kevin Labanc had a hat trick and added four assists as the Barrie Colts routed the North Bay Battalion 12-2 on Saturday night in Ontario Hockey League play.
Justin Scott had two goals and two assists while Adrian Carbonara also struck twice for Barrie (21-12-1). Andrew Mangiapane had a goal and five assists as Justin Murray, Ben Hawerchuk, Zachary Magwood and Cordell James rounded out the attack.
Brett McKenzie and Mathew Santos chipped in for the Battalion (18-13-3).
David Ovsjannikov made 29 saves for the win. Jake Smith started for North Bay but was pulled after turning away 11-of-16 shots in 17:49. Jake Kment went the rest of the way and kicked out 32-of-39 shots.
The Colts were 0 for 3 with the man advantage while the Battalion were scoreless on four opportunities.
Barrie’s Josh Carrick and Rocky Kaura, along with North Bay’s Brett Hargrave and Zach Poirier were all ejected at 5:48 of the second period for persistent fighting. Mike Baird of the Battalion was assessed a match penalty for spearing later in the second.

SAGINAW, Mich. — Connor Brown scored his second goal of the game at 3:43 of overtime as the Spirit rallied past Sault Ste. Marie.
Mike Davies and Matthew Kreis also had goals for Saginaw (17-17-3), which won its third in a row.
Jack Kopacka, Zachary Senyshyn and Boris Katchouk scored for the Greyhounds (16-15-5).

ERIE, Pa. — Darren Raddysh scored the winner as the Otters edged Hamilton for their fourth straight win.
Nick Betz also chipped in for Erie (31-4-1).
Adam Laishram found the back of the net for the Bulldogs (14-19-3).

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. — Jordan Maletta struck twice as the IceDogs slipped past Ottawa.
William Lochead and Ryan Mantha rounded out the attack for Niagara (18-13-5), which scored four consecutive goals to close out the game.
Dante Salituro had a goal and two assists for the 67’s (18-18-1) with Sam Studnicka and Austen Keating adding the others.

SARNIA, Ont. — Max Jones scored the overtime winner shorthanded as London slipped past the Sting.
Victor Mete and JJ Piccinich had power-play goals in regulation for the Knights (27-6-3). Nicolas Mattinen and Chandler Yakimowicz rounded out the attack.
Matt Mistele, Noah Bushnell and Sasha Chmelevski gave Sarnia (19-11-5) a 3-0 lead to open the game. Nikita Korostelev had the other.

FLINT, Mich. — Aaron Luchuk had two goals and two assists as Windsor downed the Firebirds.
Bradley Latour scored once and added two assists for the Spitfires (22-10-5), who also got goals from Hayden McCool, Cole Carter and Brendan Lemieux.
Connor Chatham and Stephan Seeger found the back of the net for Flint (14-17-4).

OWEN SOUND, Ont. — Jalen Smereck scored 2:09 into overtime as Oshawa came back to beat the Attack.
Lukas Lofquist and Kenny Huether, with his second of the night, had goals in the third period for the Generals (15-18-5) to force extra time. Jack Studnicka had the other.
Jacob Friend, Thomas Schemitsch, Matthew Struthers and Bryson Cianfrone provided the offence for Owen Sound (16-14-7) with Josh Sterk tacking on three assists.
