OHL Roundup: Palmu’s 4 points lead Attack over Bulldogs

OWEN SOUND, Ont. — Petrus Palmu had the eventual winning goal and tacked on three assists to power the Owen Sound Attack to a 7-5 victory over the Hamilton Bulldogs on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Markus Phillips and Jonah Gadjovich each scored twice for the Attack (1-2) and Ethan Szpula and Nick Pryce supplied the rest of the offence.

Matthew Strome had two goals for Hamilton (2-1). Justin Lemcke, Trent Fox and Michael Cramarossa also scored.

Owen Sound’s Bradley Van Schubert allowed two goals on three shots over 3:07. Riley Dennis stopped 17-of-20 shots in relief for the win.

Cole Ceci started in net for the Bulldogs, allowing five goals on 22 shots over the first period. Kaden Fulcher made 23 saves the rest of the way.

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Logan DeNoble scored twice as the Petes toppled Oshawa.

Matyas Svoboda and Zach Gallant had the other goals for Peterborough (1-1).

Domenic Commisso scored for the winless Generals (0-3), a power-play goal in the second inning that tied the game 1-1.
