OHL Roundup: Rymsha pair of goals power 67’s past Petes

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Drake Rymsha had a pair of power-play goals to lead the Ottawa 67’s past the Peterborough Petes 5-3 on Thursday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Austen Keating, Artur Tyanulin and Kody Clark also scored for Ottawa (1-0-0), while Leo Lazarev made 29 saves for the win.

C.J. Clarke, Matthew Timms and Logan DeNoble replied for Peterborough (0-1-0). Scott Smith stopped 38 shots in net for the Petes.

The 67’s went 2 for 7 on the power play and Peterborough was 1 for 5 with the man advantage.

WINDSOR, Ont. — Cole Purboo had the eventual winner as the Spitfires reeled off four unanswered goals to down Erie.

Cole Carter, Aaron Luchuk and Hayden McCool also scored for Windsor (1-0-0).

Shaun Bily had the first goal of the game for the Otters (0-1-0).
