GUELPH, Ont. — Michael Giugovaz stopped 43 shots and James McEwan scored three times as the Guelph Storm toppled the Kitchener Rangers 7-3 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Givani Smith had two goals and an assist for the Storm (5-28-3) while Jake Bricknell and Luke Burghardt added a goal apiece. Jacob Harris chipped in with three assists.
Jake Henderson, Mason Kohn and Nick Maygar found the back of the net for the Rangers (26-6-4) and Jeremy Bracco tacked on two helpers.
Dawson Carty started in net for Kitchener and lasted only 18:28 after giving up three goals on seven shots. Luke Richardson went the rest of the way and stopped 11-of-14 shots in relief.
Guelph went 2 for 3 on the power play while the Rangers failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Jack Flinn stopped all 27 shots his way as the Steelheads blanked Ottawa.
Jason Smith scored the game’s only goal at 5:12 of the second period for Mississauga (20-16-4).
Leo Lazarev turned away 23-of-24 shots for the 67’s (18-19-1).

NORTH BAY, Ont. — Matthew Santos struck twice as the Battalion downed Barrie.
Kyle Wood, Cam Dineen and Aaron Dart also scored for North Bay (19-14-3).

WINDSOR, Ont. — Christian Fischer had two goals and an assist as the Spitfires hammered Saginaw.
Cristiano DiGiacinto and Hayden McCool had a goal and two helpers each for Windsor (23-10-5), which also got goals from Luke Boka, Gabriel Vilardi and Kyle Auger.
Dylan Sadowy kept the Spirit (17-18-3) from being shut out.

Taylor Raddysh scored the go-ahead goal at 8:38 of the third period for the Otters (32-4-1).
