SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. – Hayden Verbeek had three goals and an assist while Morgan Frost had a pair of goals and a helper as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds downed the Hamilton Bulldogs 10-0 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Tim Gettinger, Taylor Raddysh, Noah Carroll, Mac Hollowell and Ryan Roth also scored for the league-leading Greyhounds (46-6-4), who avoided their third straight loss.
Kaden Fulcher gave up four goals on 15 shots in a period of work before giving way to Nick Donofrio, who stopped 14-of-20 shots for the Bulldogs (34-15-6), who sit first in the Eastern Conference.
The Greyhounds went 2 for 6 on the power play while the Bulldogs went 0 for 1 with the man advantage.

KINGSTON, Ont. — Linus Nyman scored the go-ahead goal at 12:30 of the third period as the Frontenacs edged Peterborough.
Brett Neumann also scored for Kingston (30-17-8), which got a 23-save outing from Jeremy Helvig.
Brady Hinz responded for the Petes (20-30-6). Dylan Wells kicked out 32 shots in a losing cause.

Matthew Philip, Akil Thomas and Adrian Carbonara found the back of the net for the IceDogs (26-20-8). Stephen Dhillon stopped 35-of-40 shots in defeat.
