From Ron Hextall, to Chris Osgood, to Marty Brodeur, hockey fans have seen plenty of goalies score into empty nets. But on Friday night, Gatineau Olympique’s goalie Mathieu Bellemare decided to one up all of them by scoring a goal on a net that…wasn’t empty.

While Bellemare did get a little help from Rimouski Oceanic’s goalie Jimmy Lemay, the score sheet doesn’t have pictures. The goal helped Gatineau clinch a 6-3 win and earn Bellemare, who also made 30 saves, the first star of the game.

Bellemare’s goal comes less than a week after Val-D’Or Foreurs goalie Étienne Montpetit scored a goal, the old fashioned way, against the Quebec Ramparts.
