MONCTON, N.B. – Anthony Duclair scored twice and set up one more as the Quebec Remparts beat the Moncton Wildcats 4-1 on Thursday to take Game 1 of their Quebec Major Junior Hockey League semifinal playoff series.

Vladimir Tkachev also had a pair of goals for the Remparts while Marc-Olivier Roy tacked on two assists.

Kyle Tibbo supplied the offence for the Wildcats.

Quebec’s Zachary Fucale made 26 saves for the win as Alex Dubeau kicked out 40-of-44 shots for Moncton.

The Remparts went 2 for 5 on the power play while the Wildcats failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.

Game 2 goes Saturday in Moncton.
