MONCTON, N.B. – Alexandre Alain and Thomas Ethier both scored twice as the league-leading Blainville-Boisbriand Armada extended their point streak to 13 games, beating the Moncton Wildcats 5-2 on Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Alex Barre-Boulet also scored for the Armada (37-9-12), who are 10-0-3 on their current run.
Nicholas Welsh and Jeremy McKenna built up a 2-0 lead in the second period for the Wildcats (23-23-8).
Emile Samson made 23 saves for Blainville-Boisbriand as Mark Grametbauer turned away 16-of-20 shots for Moncton.
The Armada went 1 for 5 on the power play while the Wildcats went 2 for 6.
Moncton’s Gabriel Sylvestre was given a major and game misconduct for elbowing at 15:10 of the first period.

SAGUENEENS 4 MOOSEHEADS 3 (OT)
HALIFAX — Kevin Klima scored 22 seconds into overtime and Zachary Bouthillier made 43 saves as Chicoutimi edged the Mooseheads for its fifth win in a row.
Liam Stevens scored twice in regulation while Mathieu Desgagnes had the other for the Sagueneens (22-24-4), who trailed 3-1 heading into the third period.
Maxime Fortier, Brett Crossley and Filip Zadina scored for Halifax (34-12-7). Alexis Gravel allowed for four goals on 17 shots in defeat.

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Mathieu Olivier scored a hat trick and Nicolas Poulin had two goals and an assist as the Phoenix handed Rouyn-Noranda its third straight loss.
Samuel Poulin also scored for Sherbrooke (22-21-10), which got a 24-save outing from Brendan Cregan.
Patrik Hrehorcak had both goals for the Huskies (30-15-8). Zachary Emond turned away 16-of-22 shots in defeat.

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Maxime Comtois had two goals and two assists and Vitalii Abramov had a goal and three helpers as the Tigres doubled up Baie-Comeau for their fourth win in a row.
Felix Lauzon, Simon Lafrance, Chase Harwell, Jerome Gravel and Edouard Ouellet also scored Victoriaville (29-18-6).
Antoine Girard, Luke Kirwan, Edouard St-Laurent and Jordan Martel scored for the Drakkar (22-26-4), who are on a five-game slide. Justin Blanchette combined with Francis Leclerc for 27 saves in defeat.
