QMJHL Roundup: Beaudin scores twice as Huskies down Voltigeurs

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Jean-Christophe Beaudin scored twice, once shorthanded and once on the power play, as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies downed the Drummondville Voltigeurs 5-1 on Tuesday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Gabriel Fontaine, Chris McQuaid and Antoine Waked rounded out the attack for the Huskies (12-3-1).

Alex Barre-Boulet replied on the power play for Drummondville (6-7-2).

Samuel Harvey made 25 saves for the win with Frederic Foulem turning aside 24 shots in the loss.

Rouyn-Noranda went 1 for 4 on the man advantage while the Voltigeurs scored once on eight chances.

SYDNEY, N.S. — Jakub Zboril and Bokondji Imama had a goal and an assist apiece as Saint John routed the Screaming Eagles.

Bailey Webster, Samuel Leblanc, Mathieu Joseph and Matt Green supplied the rest of the offence for the Sea Dogs (11-5-1). Alex Bishop made 23 saves.

Phelix Martineau scored the lone goal for Cape Breton (8-9-0) while Kyle Jessiman took the loss by stopping 18-of-22 shots in 30:54. Colten Ellis turned aside seven shots in relief.
