QUEBEC — Tyler Boland scored a hat trick to lead the Rimouski Oceanic past the Quebec Remparts 5-1 on Saturday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
The game marks the end of the QMJHL regular season with the playoffs starting next week.
Deven St-Hilaire and Dylan Montcalm also had goals for the Oceanic (36-25-7), who got 18 saves from Louis-Philip Guindon.
Zachery Moody found the back of the net in the first period for Quebec (28-33-7). Evgeny Kiselev kicked out 35-of-40 shots in defeat.
Rimouski failed to score on six power plays while the Remparts were 0 for 3.

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Alexandre Goulet had a goal and an assist as Victoriaville got past the Phoenix.
Bradley Lalonde, James Phelan, Felix Lauzon and Mario Huber rounded out the attack for the Tigres (33-28-7), who won their third in a row.
Nicolas Poulin and Daniel Audette scored for Sherbrooke (24-35-9).

SHAWINIGAN, Que. — Philippe Sanche and Jan Dufek both scored in the shootout as Blainville-Boisbriand topped the Cataractes.
Sanche led the Armada (26-32-10) in regulation with two goals and an assist. Connor Bramwell, Dufek, Morgan Adams-Moisan and Samuel Hunter supplied the rest of the offence.
Brandon Gignac replied with a hat trick for Shawinigan (44-19-5). Samuel Girard added a goal and four assists while Cavan Fitzgerald and Justin Bernier also chipped in.

GATINEAU, Que. — Anthony-John Greer had a pair of goals and Chase Marchand stopped all 15 shots he faced through two periods as Rouyn-Noranda shut out the Olympiques for its 14th straight win.
Julien Nantel and Timo Meier also scored for the Huskies (54-9-5), with Samuel Harvey making eight saves in relief during the third period.
Mark Grametbauer turned away 24-of-28 shots for Gatineau (46-19-3).

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Raphael Santerre scored 1:58 into overtime as the Drakkar edged Chicoutimi.
Vincent Deslauriers struck twice in regulation for Baie-Comeau (14-49-5). Alexandre Dufour, on the power play, and Vincent Lavoie also chipped in as the Drakkar recovered from a 4-0 deficit.
Baie-Comeau finished the season on a four-game winning streak despite missing the playoffs.
Taylor Cooper, Nicolas Roy, on the power play, Julien Carignan-Labbe and Elie Berube opened the scoring for the Sagueneens (32-25-11).

MONCTON, N.B. — Cole Rafuse had the only goal in the shootout as Acadie-Bathurst slipped past the Wildcats.
Vladimir Kuznetsov and Jeffrey Truchon-Viel scored power-play goals for the Titan (27-35-6), who also got goals from Samuel L’Italien and Cole Rafuse.

SYDNEY, N.S. — Phelix Martineau’s short-handed goal was the first of three straight in the second period as the Screaming Eagles won their seventh in a row by edging Saint John.
Declan Smith and Peyton Hoyt also chipped in during the second for Cape Breton (38-24-6). Massimo Carozza added a power-play goal in the third.
Matt Murphy struck twice for the Sea Dogs (42-20-6), including once on the power play. Daniel Del Paggio also had a power-play goal for Saint John.
