QMJHL Roundup: Chekhovich scores OT winner as Drakkar edge Voltigeurs

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Ivan Chekhovich’s second goal of the game was the overtime winner, lifting the Baie-Comeau Drakkar over the Drummondville Voltigeurs in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Tuesday.

Yan Aucoin and Nathan Legare also scored for the Drakkar (23-26-5).

Joe Veleno, Xavier Simoneau and Nicolas Guay scored for the Voltigeurs (36-15-3).

Baie-Comeau goaltender Francis Leclerc stopped 45 shots. Drummondville’s Daniel Moody made 21 saves.

The Drakkar were 1 for 3 on the power play while the Voltigeurs were scoreless in four chances with the man advantage.

QUEBEC CITY — Vitalii Abramov scored one goal and set up two more as Victoriaville beat the Remparts.

Dominic Cormier, Felix Lauzon and Ivan Kosorenkov also scored for the Tigres (31-18-6).

Philipp Kurashev had the lone goal for Quebec (30-21-5).
