QMJHL Roundup: Goulet scores 4 goals for Tigres

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Alexandre Goulet scored four times to lead the Victoriaville Tigres past the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 7-2 on Wednesday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Kyle Tibbo struck twice with Marc Beckstead adding a goal and two assists for the Tigres (20-15-7). Bradley Lalonde and Maxime Comtois both tacked on two assists.

Antoine Crete-Belzile and Brendan Hamelin had goals for Blainville-Boisbriand (15-22-6).

Olivier Tremblay stopped 28 shots for the win in net. Francis Leclerc kicked out 16-of-21 shots through two periods of work for the Armada. Samuel Montembeault came on in relief and turned aside 7-of-9 shots in the third.

Victoriaville was scoreless on four power plays while Blainville-Boisbriand was 1 for 5.

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Bruno-Carl Denis scored the winner in the third period as Rouyn-Noranda held off the Phoenix.

Philippe Myers had a power-play goal late in the second for the Huskies (32-6-4).

Julien Bahl responded with a third-period goal for Sherbrooke (15-22-6).
