VICTORIAVILLE, Que. – Michael Carcone scored his Quebec Major Junior Hockey League-leading 43rd and 44th goals of the season and added an assist to lead the Drummondville Voltigeurs past the Victoriaville Tigres 4-1 on Friday night.

Alex Barre-Boulet and Charley Graaskamp both had a goal and an assist to round out the attack for Drummondville (25-30-2).

Pascal Laberge opened the scoring midway through the first period for the Tigres (28-21-7).

Frederic Foulem made 33 saves for the win in net as James Povall kicked out 21-of-24 shots in defeat.

The Voltigeurs were 1 for 2 on the power play while Victoriaville was scoreless on four attempts.

TITAN 6 PHOENIX 2

BATHURST, N.B. — Egor Popov scored the first of five goals in the first period as the Titan downed Sherbrooke.

Daniil Miromanov, Christophe Boivin, Mark Simpson and Vladimir Kuznetsov also found the back of the net in the first for Acadie-Bathurst (22-27-5). Jason Bell added the other in the second.

Hugo Roy and Carl Neill responded with power-play goals for the Phoenix (20-27-9).

VAL-D’OR, Que. — Vitalii Abramov had two goals and two assists as Gatineau got past the Foreurs.

Alex Dostie scored twice and added an assist for the Olympiques (39-15-3), who also got a goal from Vincent Milot-Ouellet.

Julien Gauthier and David Henley found the back of the net for Val-d’Or (42-11-3).

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Timo Meier had a goal and two assists as the Huskies toppled Saint John.

Anthony-John Greer, Jean-Christophe Beaudin and Francis Perron supplied the rest of the offence for Rouyn-Noranda (41-9-5).

Spencer Smallman scored on the power play for the Sea Dogs (36-15-4).

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Alexis D’Aoust, Nicholas Welsh and Anthony Beauvillier all had a goal and an assist as Shawinigan beat the Drakkar.

Brandon Gignac rounded out the attack for the Cataractes (36-16-4).

Matteo Pietroniro replied on the power play for Baie-Comeau (8-43-3).
