SHERBROOKE, Que. — The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada finally lost a game in regulation time.
Mathieu Olivier scored the eventual winner at 19:17 of the second period as the Sherbrooke Phoenix halted the Armada’s point streak at 17 games with a 4-2 win on Wednesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Blainville-Boisbriand had gone 13-0-4 on their run, with its last regulation-time loss coming on Jan. 7 against the Shawinigan Cataractes.
Yaroslav Alexeyev, Thomas Gregoire and Bailey Peach also scored for the Phoenix (26-22-11), who are 4-0-1 in their last five.
Joel Teasdale had both goals for the Armada (40-10-6).
Brendan Cregan made 22 saves for Sherbrooke as Mikhail Denisov kicked out 26 shots for Blainville-Boisbriand.
The Phoenix went 1 for 5 on the power play while the Armada were 0 for 1 with the man advantage.

WILDCATS 4 SEA DOGS 3 (OT)
SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Jeremy McKenna scored 49 seconds into overtime as Moncton edged the Sea Dogs to snap a six-game slide.
Alexander Khovanov, Nicholas Welsh and James Phelan also scored for the Wildcats (24-27-8). Mark Grametbauer made 23 saves for the win.
Anthony Boucher struck twice while William Poirier had the other for Saint John (13-33-11), which has lost five in a row. Alex D’Orio turned away 45 shots in defeat.
Sea Dogs defenceman Radim Salda was handed a major and game misconduct for checking to the head early in the second period.

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. – D’Artagnan Joly set up two goals then scored one of his own as the Drakkar handed Shawinigan its fifth loss in a row.
Shawn Element, Gabriel Fortier, Yan Aucoin, Ivan Chekhovich and Jordan Martel also scored for Baie-Comeau (25-28-5). Francis Leclerc made 23 saves for the win.
Vasily Glotov scored twice and Gabriel Denis netted the other for the Cataractes (16-36-6). Mathieu Bellemare combined with Lucas Fitzpatrick for 33 saves in defeat.

QUEBEC CITY, Que. – Olivier Garneau had three goals and two assists as the Remparts hammered Val-d’Or for their third win in a row.
Louis-Filip Cote and Jesse Sutton each had two goals while Gregor MacLeod, Matthew Boucher and Pascal Laberge also scored for Quebec (33-21-5). Antoine Samuel made 21 saves for the win.
Mederick Racicot and Ivan Kozlov found the back of the net for the Foreurs (19-33-5). Mathieu Marquis combined with Jonathan Lemieux for 34 saves in a losing effort.

MOOSEHEADS 3 ISLANDERS 2 (OT)
CHARLOTTETOWN _ Raphael Lavoie scored at 1:09 of overtime as Halifax beat the Islanders for its fourth straight win.
Otto Somppi had a pair of goals in regulation for the Mooseheads (38-13-7), who got a 27-save outing from Alexis Gravel.
Daniel Hardie and Nikita Alexandrov scored for Charlottetown (31-21-5), which blew a 2-0 lead. Matthew Welsh stopped 32 shots in a losing cause.
Halifax forward Benoit-Olivier Groulx was given a match penalty for slew-footing at 13:55 of the second period.
