SYDNEY, N.S. — Pierre-Luc Dubois and Maxim Lazarev both had a goal and three assists to lead the Screaming Eagles to a 6-2 win over Val-d’Or.

Anthony Sorrentino, Jordan Ty Fournier, Yannik Bertrand and Evgeny Svechnikov supplied the rest of the offence for Cape Breton (9-8-2).

Julien Gauthier and Alexis Pepin scored for the Foreurs (10-6-3).

Pepin received a match penalty for spearing at 10:42 of the third period.

HUSKIES 5 SEA DOGS 2

SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Antoine Waked scored twice and Francis Perron added four assists as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies downed the Saint John Sea Dogs 5-2 on Friday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Jean-Christophe Beaudin had a goal and two assists for the Huskies (14-1-4), with Martins Dzierkals and Gabriel Fontraine adding the others.

Mathieu Joseph and Jakub Zboril found the back of the net for Saint John (9-7-1).

Chase Marchand turned aside 30 shots for Rouyn-Noranda as Marc-Antoine Turcotte made 30 saves for the Sea Dogs.

The Huskies scored once on six power-play attempts while Saint John was 2 for 10.

CHICOUTIMI, Que. — Dennis Yan scored the go-ahead goal at 5:35 of the third period as Shawinigan got past the Sagueneens.

Anthony Beauvillier and Samuel Girard also found the back of the net for the Cataractes (14-3-0).

Frederic Allard and Nicolas Roy had goals for Chicoutimi (7-9-1).

MOOSEHEADS 3 REMPARTS 2 (OT)

HALIFAX — Cody Donaghey scored his first of the season 2:04 into overtime as the Mooseheads edged Quebec.

Danny Moynihan led the Halifax (7-10-2) offence with two goals in regulation.

Dmytro Timashov and Charley Graaskamp had goals for the Remparts (9-7-2).

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Michael Carcone scored twice and added an assist as the Tigres slipped past Drummondville.

Alex Barre-Boulet had a goal and two assists to round out the Victoriaville (10-6-2) attack.

Bradley Lalonde and Felix Lauzon chipped in for the Voltigeurs (10-9-0).

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Vitalii Abramov scored midway through the third period as Gatineau held on to beat the Drakkar.

Yan Pavel Laplante and Marc-Olivier Crevier-Morin gave the Olympiques (10-5-1) a two-goal lead through two periods.

Fabrizio Ricci and Matt Jones responded for Baie-Comeau (3-12-0) late in the third period.

BOISBRIAND, Que. — Skylar Strumas scored the winner in the second period as Sherbrooke toppled the Armada.

Guillaume Gauthier had the other goal for the Phoenix (7-9-3).

Christian Blomqvist opened the scoring on the power play for Blainville-Boisbriand (6-10-2).
