Raaymakers stops 31 as Greyhound blank Knights

LONDON, Ont. – Joseph Raaymakers stopped all 31 shots he faced as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds blanked the London Knights 5-0 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Michael Bunting scored twice for Sault Ste. Marie (7-0-0), while Blake Speers added three assists. Colton White, Gabe Guertler and Jean Dupuy had goals as well.

Michael Giugovaz turned aside 15-of-19 shots in 22:48 of work for London (2-5-0). He was pulled in favour of Tyler Parsons after allowing Bunting’s first goal. Parsons made 25 saves in relief.

The Greyhounds did not score on six power plays. The Knights had two man advantages.

KINGSTON, Ont. — Lucas Peressini made 31 saves as the Frontenacs shut out Niagara.

Spencer Watson’s power-play goal 16:26 into the first period was all Kingston (3-3-0) needed.

Brent Moran stopped 28 shots for the IceDogs (0-6-0).

OTTAWA — Connor Graham had the eventual winner as the 67’s downed Oshawa.

Jeremiah Addison, Sam Studnicka and Dante Salituro also scored for Ottawa (2-4-0).

Jacob Busch was the lone scorer for Oshawa (5-1-1).

SAGINAW, Mich. — Jimmy Lodge scored twice as the Spirit topped Peterborough.

Nick Moutrey and Luke Cairns had a goal and an assist each for Saginaw (3-3-1), while Adam McPhail and Connor Brown added singles.

Eric Cornel, Steven Lorentz and Nick Ritchie built a 3-1 lead for the Petes (1-3-2)
