MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Jesse Shynkaruk scored a hat trick as the Moose Jaw Warriors snapped a seven-game losing streak with an 8-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders in Western Hockey League action on Saturday.
Tanner Eberle had a pair of goals for Moose Jaw (16-20-4), which scored five times in the second period. Jiri Smejkal, Jack Rodewald and Ben Duperreault also chipped in.
Cory Millette and Reid Gardiner scored for the Raiders (16-23-1), who have now lost five straight.
Zach Sawchenko turned away 25 shots for the Warriors. Rylan Parenteau started for Prince Albert and made eight saves on 12 shots in 30:23. Nick McBride went the rest of the way and stopped 4-of-8 shots in 29:37.
Moose Jaw converted on two of its chances on the man advantage while the Raiders went 0 for 4.

SASKATOON — Kohl Bauml scored twice — including once on the power play — as Everett downed the Blades.
