LETHBRIDGE, Alta. — Brayden Burke scored one goal and assisted on three more, Stuart Skinner stopped all 18 shots he faced and the Lethbridge Hurricanes blanked the Kootenay Ice 9-0 on Thursday in Western Hockey League action.

Arvin Atwal, Giorgio Estephan, Tyler Wong and Brett Davis each had a goal and two assists apiece for Lethbridge (15-9-0) while Justin Gutierrez, Barrett Sheen, Carter Folk and Cory Millette — shorthanded in the third period — rounded out the attack.

Declan Hobbs stopped 39-of-48 shots for the Ice (6-18-2), who have dropped seven of their last 10 games.

The Hurricanes were 3 for 5 on the power play while Kootenay failed to take advantage of its four chances with the man advantage.
