EDMONTON — Ryan Jevne scored twice in the third period as the Medicine Hat Tigers came from behind to defeat the Edmonton Oil Kings 5-4 on Sunday in Western Hockey League action.
Jevne tied the game 4-4 with a power-play goal at 10:51 and then added the eventual winner at 14:43.
Mason Shaw, Alex Mowbray and Cole Sanford also scored for the Tigers (10-18-3) while Ty Stanton, Matt Bradley and David Quenneville tacked on two assists apiece.
Tyler Robertson had two goals and an assist for the Oil Kings (13-17-3), who also got goals from Tyson Gruninger and Brandon Baddock.
Medicine Hat’s Mack Shields made 21 saves for the win as Payton Lee kicked out 36-of-41 shots for Edmonton.
Both clubs went 1 for 5 on the power play.

BLADES 2, PATS 1 (SO)
SASKATOON — Connor Gay scored the winner in the sixth round of the shootout as the Blades snapped a five-game skid with a win over Regina.
Cameron Hebig scored in regulation for Saskatoon (11-16-3). Brock Hamm stopped 29 shots in regulation and overtime, and all six shooters in the shootout for the victory.
Adam Brooks struck for the Pats (15-13-4), who got a 37-save performance from Tyler Brown.

GIANTS 4, ROYALS 2
VICTORIA — Alex Baer had a pair of goals and Chase Lang set up both as Vancouver doubled up the Royals.
Jack Flaman and Ben Thomas also scored for the Giants (10-19-4). Ryan Kubic made 29 saves for the win.
Jack Walker and Forsberg supplied the scoring for Victoria (20-10-2). Coleman Vollrath allowed three goals on 11 shots in a period of work before giving way to Griffen Outhouse, who made 22 saves in relief.

HITMEN 5, REBELS 2
RED DEER, Alta. — Jakob Stukel scored three times and Cody Porter made 42 saves as Calgary toppled the Rebels.
Keegan Kanzig and Jake Bean also found the back of the net for the Hitmen (21-12-2).
Adam Musil and Presten Kopeck scored for Red Deer (21-11-0), which got a 24-save outing from Rylan Toth.
