WHL Roundup: Warriors score seven versus Blades

EDMONTON — Colton Kehler scored his second goal of the game on the power play 2:37 into overtime as the Edmonton Oil Kings edged the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-3 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Lane Bauer had a goal and an assist and Davis Koch also scored for the Oil Kings (24-25-7), who let a 3-1 lead slip in the third period. Aaron Irving chipped in with two assists.

Brady Reagan scored one goal and set up another for Lethbridge (39-16-1). Ryley Lindgren and Tyler Wong also scored.

Patrick Dea made 19 saves for the win. Stuart Skinner stopped 37 shots to shoulder the loss.

Both teams were 1 for 3 on the power play.

REGINA -- Cole Sanford had a pair of goals as the Pats downed Brandon.

Adam Brooks, Rykr Cole and Riley Woods also chipped in for Regina (24-23-7).

Nolan Patrick and Tyler Coulter scored for the Wheat Kings (35-17-4).

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. -- Tyler Steenbergen had two goals and an assist as the Broncos got past Medicine Hat.

Lane Pederson had a goal and two assists, with Jon Martin adding the other for Swift Current (20-28-6).

Steven Owre scored in the third period for the Tigers (20-33-4), who dropped their eighth in a row.

MOOSE JAW, Sask. -- Dryden Hunt had two goals and two assists to lead the Warriors past Saskatoon.

Ryan Bowen, Brayden Point, Brett Howden, Josh Thrower and Nikita Popugaev supplied the rest of the offence for Moose Jaw (28-21-8).

Cameron Hausinger, Dustin Perillat, Ryan Graham and Nikita Soshnin found the back of the net for the Blades (19-33-4).

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. -- Justin Kirkland had a pair of goals as Kelowna got past the Cougars.

Tyson Baillie had a goal and two assists, with Tate Coughlin, Dillon Dube and Cole Linaker also chipping in for the Rockets (39-15-3).

Sam Ruopp scored once and assisted on two more for Prince George (31-22-4). Brad Morrison, Joel Lakusta and Jared Bethune rounded out the attack.

Ty Ronning, Alec Baer and David Brumm found the back of the net for the Giants (21-29-7).

EVERETT, Wash. -- Griffen Outhouse stopped all 28 shots he faced and Tyler Soy struck twice as Victoria shut out the Silvertips.

Jack Walker had a power-play goal for the Royals (37-15-5), who have picked up points in 14-straight games (13-0-1).

Carter Hart turned aside 32 shots for Everett (32-19-4).

KENT, Wash. -- Scott Eansor scored with under a second left in overtime as the Thunderbirds beat Portland.

Ryan Gropp had two goals and an assist for Seattle (30-22-3). Donovan Neuls, Alexander True and Jerret Smith supplied the rest of the offence with Mathew Barzal chipping in with three assists.

Alex Overhardt, Rodrigo Abols, Alex Schoenborn, Evan Weinger and Keoni Texeira found the back of the net for the Winterhawks (28-25-3).

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Keanu Yamamoto scored his second goal of the game in overtime as the Chiefs slipped past Kootenay.

Curtis Miske and Hudson Elynuik had goals in regulation for Spokane (27-24-7).

Cale Fleury tied the game at 3-3 with a goal in the third for the Ice (10-42-4). Tanner Lishchynsky and Cale Fleury rounded out the attack, with Zak Zborosky tacking on three helpers.
