SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Jakub Zboril scored at 4:41 of overtime as the Saint John Sea Dogs edged the visiting Val-d’Or Foreurs 5-4 on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Daniel Del Paggio, Adam Marsh, Mathieu Joseph and Adam Bateman also scored for the Sea Dogs (19-6-5), who are 4-0-1 in their past five outings, while Nathan Noel tacked on two assists.
Anthony Richard registered a hat trick for the Foreurs (13-15-5), Anthony Beauregard scored once and Nicolas Aube-Kubel assisted on all four of his club’s goals.
Saint John goaltender Alex Bishop made 27 saves for the win as Keven Bouchard turned away 33-of-38 shots for Val-d’Or.
The Sea Dogs went 1 for 8 on the power play while the Foreurs failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.

SYDNEY, N.S. — Clarke Bishop and Maxime Lazarev each had a goal and two assists as Cape Breton toppled Rouyn-Noranda.
Phelix Martineau and Kyle Farrell also scored for the Screaming Eagles (11-15-5) while Farrell tacked on two assists for a three-point outing.
Jeremy Lauzon, Mathieu Lemay, Mathieu Boucher and Ryan Penny supplied the offence for the Huskies (15-15-2).

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Jeremy Bouchard broke a 1-1 deadlock at 16:35 of the third period and Julio Billia stopped 30 shots as Chicoutimi beat the Phoenix.

Vincent Deslauriers scored the lone goal for Sherbrooke (16-11-3), which got a 27-save performance from Alex Bureau.

MONCTON, N.B. — Kyle Tibbo scored the eventual winner late in the first and assisted on Eric Leger’s insurance goal as the Wildcats handed Acadie-Bathurst its third straight loss.
Conor Garland also scored for Moncton (18-10-2) while Alex Dubeau stopped 22 shots for the win.
Jordan Maher put the Titan (9-22-2) on the board as Daniel Vautour made 22 saves in defeat.

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Felix Lauzon put the Tigres ahead for good at 15:45 of the third period en route to a victory over Rimouski.
Mathieu Ayotte, Phil Pietroniro and Gabriel Gagne also scored for Victoriaville (17-10-4).
The Oceanic (21-8-2) got goals from Anthony DeLuca, Frederik Gauthier and Vincent Dunn.
