Doug Gilmour. Mats Sundin. Jon Bon Jovi?

According to the Toronto Star a Bon Jovi banner will be hung inside at the Air Canada Centre on Nov. 2 to celebrate the career of the famous American rock band.

It remains unclear where in the arena the banner will be hung.

Currently, the rafters are full of banners honouring former greats of the Toronto Maple Leafs, including Sundin and Gilmour.

“We’ve left plenty of room up there for Stanley Cup banners. This doesn’t take away from the Leafs,” Tim Leiweke, president and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment told the Torotno Star.

Bon Jovi has sold more than 600,000 tickets in 17 appearances at the Air Canada Centre.
