Adorable Bruins fan gets Upper Deck hockey card

Watch as a young fan fist bumps the Boston Bruins after their pregame warm up.

You may recall the heart-warming image of eight-year-old Boston Bruins fan Liam Fitzgerald fist-bumping Bruins players as they skated off the ice earlier this season. Fitzgerald, a leukemia survivor, was welcomed back for a special ceremony on Thursday night prior to the Bruins playing host to the Anaheim Ducks.

Trading card company Upper Deck and the Bruins presented Liam with his own custom hockey card at the TD Garden.

The Bruins, who currently trail the Ottawa Senators by one point for the East’s second wild card spot, will look to climb back into the playoff picture with a win Thursday.
