Hamilton Bulldogs forward Louis Leblanc is expected to miss four-to-six weeks with a high ankle sprain.

The 21-year-old from Pointe-Claire, Que., has two goals in three games with the American Hockey League club this year.

Leblanc was selected in the first round, 18th overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens. He split last season with the Habs and Bulldogs, scoring five goals and five assists in 42 games with Montreal and 11 goals and 11 assists in 31 games with Hamilton.

The Bulldogs also announced on Wednesday that goaltender Cedrick Desjardins will miss one-to-two weeks with a groin injury.
