During a KHL game Saturday, Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin missed a hit slightly, hitting the glass with the back of his head and shattering it. Ovechkin had to leave the game briefly to clear the broken glass for his uniform and have medical staff attend to his bloody hands.
Either that glass is a little flimsy, or everyone who gets hit by Ovechkin should have to be carried off in a stretcher.
