With the lockout inching closer to wiping out the 2012-13 NHL season, hockey-deprived fans are finding new ways to have their voice heard.
Following another round of CBA negotiations on Wednesday, in which the NHL rejected the NHLPA’s latest proposal, an upset fan interrupted Bettman’s press conference to voice his displeasure with the commissioner.

Tribune-Review beat writer Josh Yohe caught the altercation on camera, and according to his report Bettman was smooth in diffusing the situation.

It’s not the first time Bettman has been confronted by a fan in person, and he is certainly no stranger to deflecting the anger of the players.
So for the sake of his own well being, and for the sanity of hockey fans worldwide, it might be time for Bettman to end the lockout.
