Man, even Anne Murray’s scoring on the Leafs tonight.

This isn’t the first time Murray has backhanded the Leafs this season. If you’ll recall Toronto’s 4-1 loss to Boston back on Oct. 25, in which they used garbage time to catch up on shots and convert a goal, Murray sent out another tweet putting down the Blue and White. Anne Murray on Twitter

Murray’s Twitter feed simply describes her as “singer/author.” Perhaps it’s time to start a comedy career.

Chin up Leafs fans. Here are some more words from Murray through the song “You’ve Got A Friend.” Hopefully they make you feel a little better knowing she’s on your side.

When you’re down and troubled
And you need a helping hand
And nothing, nothing is going right
Close your eyes and think of me
And soon I will be there
To brighten up even your darkest night
