Tampa Bay defenceman Anton Stralman left the game Friday and did not return, the team announced.

Stralman fell awkwardly, catching his toe on the ice and twisting his leg. He was helped off the ice, only putting weight on one leg.

The defenceman is a huge part of the Lightning, eating up 22:20 of ice time per game and scoring 34 points in 72 games.
