The Colorado Avalanche placed forwards Paul Stastny and Milan Hejduk on the injured reserve, the team announced Monday.
Stastny has missed the last few games with a foot injury, while Hejduk suffered a shoulder injury Saturday.
In 31 games, Stastny has 19 points and Hejduk has registered 11 points in 27 games.
The team recalled winger David Van Der Gulik and centre Brad Malone from the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.
Van Der Gulik made two appearances with the Avalanche in February and in 60 games with the Monsters has 18 goals, 17 assists and 58 penalty minutes.
Malone has played once for the Avs this year and has 10 goals and 24 points in 63 games with the Monsters.
The Avalanche are currently in last place in the Western Conference and tied with the Florida Panthers for the fewest points in the NHL with 28. They visit the Detroit Red Wings Monday.
