Chicago Blackhawks forward Bryan Bickell has cleared waivers and has been sent to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Bickell has struggled this season and has appeared to have lost the confidence of head coach John Quenneville, averaging just 9:45 of ice time per game, his lowest since 2009-10.
The 29-year-old signed a four-year, $16-million contract extension with the Blackhawks after putting up an impressive 17 points in 23 playoff games in 2013.
He has just two assists in 23 games this year, and was placed on waivers for the second time this season on Saturday.
