CHICAGO — The Blackhawks have placed defenceman Trevor van Riemsdyk on the long-term injury list.

Chicago also recalled defenceman Stephen Johns and goaltender Antti Raanta from Rockford, and returned forward Joakim Nordstrom and goaltender Scott Darling to the American Hockey League club.

Van Riemsdyk left Sunday night’s 6-2 victory over Dallas with a leg injury. The rookie has one assist in 18 games.

The 25-year-old Raanta was sent to Rockford to get some work ahead of Chicago’s upcoming six-game road trip. He is 1-2 with a .933 save percentage and 2.03 goals-against average in three games this season with the Blackhawks.

Chicago announced the moves on Monday.
