The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with defencemen Michael Kostka and Theo Peckham, the club announced on Friday.
Kostka split the 2012-13 season between the Toronto Maple Leafs and American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies. The 27-year-old tallied eight assists and 27 penalty minutes in 35 regular-season games with the Maple Leafs in his NHL debut; he skated in one post-season game.
Peckham split the 2012-13 season between the Edmonton Oilers and AHL’s Oklahoma City Barons. He recorded six penalty minutes in four games with Edmonton.
The club also announced they have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with forward Drew LeBlanc.
LeBlanc made his National Hockey League debut with Chicago in 2012-13, skating in two regular-season games.
