Blues sign Paajarvi to one-year contract

The St. Louis Blues have signed Magnus Paajarvi to a one-year deal, avoiding arbitration.

The team announced the one-way deal via Twitter on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old forward has spent the last two seasons with the Blues organization, suiting up for 65 games with the NHL club.

Paajarvi has registered 32 goals and 71 points in 228 games over five seasons split between the Edmonton Oilers and Blues since being drafted 10th overall by the Oilers in 2009.
