Dubinsky ejected for hit on Kings’ Scuderi

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky should be expecting a call from the national Hockey League after being ejected from a game against the Los Angeles Kings in the second period for a questionable hit to the head of defenceman Rob Scuderi.

Scuderi was slow to get to his feet and temporarily left the game, but would later return.

This isn’t the first time Scuderi has been the victim of a nasty hit from behind.

In a similar play in Game 6 of last year’s Stanley Cup Final, New Jersey Devils forward Steve Bernier hit Scuderi from behind into the end boards, earning himself a five-minute major and a game misconduct.
