The Boston Bruins have acquired centre Zac Rinaldo in exchange for a 2017 third round draft pick, the team announced Monday.
The trade comes on the tail of the Bruins’ busy draft weekend that saw general manager Don Sweeney trade defenceman Dougie Hamilton to Calgary and forward Milan Lucic to the Kings.
Rinaldo has registered eight goals and 24 points with 572 penalty minutes in 223 career NHL games over four seasons with the Flyers.
The 25-year-old comes with a $850,000 cap hit through the 2016-17 season.
