Boston Bruins defenceman John-Michael Liles has a concussion and will be out indefinitely, the team announced Tuesday.
Liles was hurt in Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning after crashing into the boards.
He has five assists in 22 games this season after signing a one-year, $2.25-million contract with Boston this off-season.
The Bruins originally acquired the 36-year-old at the 2016 trade deadline.
