The Boston Bruins are shaking up their forward corps ahead of the 2018 trade deadline, as forward Frank Vatrano has been shipped to the Florida Panthers in exchange for a 2018 third-round pick, the club announced Thursday.

Originally added as a free agent in 2015, the 23-year-old has two goals and zero assists through 25 games in Boston this season, skating in his third campaign with the Bruins. He posted a career-high 10 goals and 18 points for the B’s last season.

Vatrano’s finest offensive campaign came in the AHL in 2015-16 when he paced all skaters with 36 goals in 36 games, adding 19 assists for a banner 55-point effort.
