Flames re-sign Karri Ramo to one-year contract

The Calgary Flames have recalled goaltender Karri Ramo from their AHL affiliate, the team announced Thursday.

Karri Ramo is staying with the Calgary Flames.

The goaltender and team agreed on a one-year deal worth $3.8 million Wednesday, shortly before he was scheduled to hit the open market.

In 34 games with the Flames last season, the 29-year-old 15-9-3 with a .912 save percentage, 2.60 goals-against average and two shutouts.
