BROSSARD, Que. — The Montreal Canadiens called up forward Sven Andrighetto from St. John’s of the American Hockey League on Monday and placed rookie Artturi Lehkonen on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
Lehkonen, who has two goals and an assist in 12 games, is expected to be out for at least a week.
Andrighetto, 23, has five goals and six assists in 10 games for the IceCaps.
In 56 NHL games over the last two seasons, the Swiss winger has nine goals and 20 points.
