Canadiens acquire DeStantis from Panthers

The Montreal Canadiens have acquired defenceman Jason DeSantis from the Florida Panthers in exchange for defenceman Brendon Nash, the club announced on Tuesday.

DeSantis had split this season with the Hamilton Bulldogs and San Antonio Rampage of the AHL — tallying three goals, eight assists and 22 penalty minutes in 32 games.

Nash, who also split the season with the Bulldogs and Rampage recored one goal, seven assists and 39 penalty minutes in 30 games.
