Montreal Canadiens defence prospect Noah Juulsen is expected to be sidelined for six weeks as he recovers from a foot fracture suffered on Sept. 18, the team announced Thursday.
Taken 26th overall in the first round of the 2015 NHL Draft, Juulsen has yet to suit up for the big club, spending the last two seasons with the WHL’s Everett Silvertips while also appearing in two playoff games with the AHL’s St. John’s IceCaps last season.
The 20-year-old won a silver medal with Canada’s world junior hockey championship team last winter.
