Canadiens recall Zachary Fucale from AHL Laval

Shea Weber, Max Pacioretty and Jonathan Drouin discuss the importance of training camp for finding the right chemistry with new teammates and line mates.

The Montreal Canadiens recalled goaltender Zachary Fucale from AHL Laval on Tuesday.

The Canadiens don’t play again until Wednesday’s pre-season contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs, but were short a netminder after Charlie Lindgren hurt himself on Monday.

Fucale was taken with the 36th pick of the 2013 NHL Draft and has had great success at the junior level, winning a Memorial Cup with the Halifax Mooseheads in 2013 and a world junior gold in 2015.

The 22-year-old has had mixed results at the professional level thus far, posting a .898 save percentage in 46 ECHL games last season.
