Montreal Canadiens defenceman Shea Weber will miss his club’s game against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday, the team announced.

Weber remains out with a lower-body injury, having last played during Montreal’s 6-0 loss to Toronto on November 18. The veteran rearguard has missed two games so far, losses to the Dallas Stars and Nashville Predators, and didn’t practice with the team on Friday.

He did manage to skate with the Canadiens on Saturday morning, according to Sportsnet’s Eric Engels, but will be unable to participate in game action.

Weber has 13 points through 20 games for Montreal this season, the second-most points among all Canadiens skaters.
