Canadiens sign Flynn to 2-year extension

The Montreal Canadiens have re-signed forward Brian Flynn to a two-year, $1.9 million contract extension.

The Canadiens acquired Flynn from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a 2016 fifth-round pick at the 2015 trade deadline.

The 26-year-old winger scored five goals and 17 points in 63 games with the Sabres and Canadiens in 2014-15.
