Canadiens’ Zach Redmond returns from broken foot

Defenceman Zach Redmond returned to Montreal Canadiens practice on Monday after recovering from a foot injury.

Redmond suffered a broken foot during practice on Oct. 20 and his estimated recovery time was six weeks.

The Canadiens signed Redmond to a two-year deal in the off-season and the Traverse City, Mich., native has yet to play a game this season.

The six-foot-two, 208 pound defender has previously played for the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche.

Montreal plays the second of a five-game road trip Tuesday night in Anaheim against the Ducks.
