The Vancouver Canucks will honour the late Pat Quinn with a clover helmet decal for the remainder of the season.
Known as ‘The Big Irishman,’ Quinn served as the president and general manager of the Canucks for nearly a decade and also coached the team during the early to mid 1990s, leading them to the Stanley Cup Final in 1994.
Before their home game Tuesday night, the Canucks honoured Quinn with a video tribute.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are honouring Quinn with a jersey patch for their next two games.
Quinn was also a co-owner of the Vancouver Giants of the WHL.
He died Sunday night in Vancouver after a lengthy illness at the age of 71.
