Other teams will have 24 hours to claim Ebbett, who is pointless in five games with the Canucks this season. If he clears waivers he will be assigned to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
Booth, who has yet to play this season due to a groin injury suffered in training camp, is expected to return this week.
