Canucks reduce pre-season roster by three players

The Vancouver Canucks trimmed their pre-season roster by three players on Friday, assigning forward Nikolay Goldobin and defenceman Philip Holm to the Canucks’s AHL affiliate in Utica.

Vancouver also released winger Scottie Upshall from his PTO.
